(Baonghean.vn) - In accordance with Nghi Loc’s socio-economic development orientation towards 2020, the district is planning for 25 markets to be recognized as markets type 3.

The district continues their project to upgrade and expand the current market system, which includes Son, Nghi Trung, etc., while constructing new markets at several communes such as Nghi Thinh, Nghi Truong, Nghi Thuan, Nghi Xa, Nghi Phong, Nghi Dien, Nghi Kieu, etc.

Nghi Loc also deploys the planning for the supermarket and shopping center type 3 planning at Quan Hanh town; Cho Thuong shopping center at Nghi My, Nghi Lam; general supermarket type 2 at Quan Hanh and supermarkets type 3 at its communes. The complex system of restaurants, hotels, commercial services areas and traditional craft villages in the urban zones South-Southwest, South-Southeast, East-Southeast of the Southeast Economic Zone; as well as the system of restaurants, hotels and offices for lease along Vinh - Cua Lo Avenue were also built up.

Nghi Trung market, Nghi Loc is still under makeshift condition at the moment.

Besides, the district is planning for construction of a bonded warehouse at Nghi Thiet deep-water port, which would be used for gasoline and petroleum import as well as commercial services in the coming time.

The district’s target is to reach the average annual growth rate of 13.5 percent in service sector during 2016-2020 period, with the sector’s share of the local economy being 36.4 percent.
